How does mobile hibachi at home work?

You prepare tables, chairs, plates, forks, and a suitable setup area. We bring the chef, grill, cooking equipment, food, and live hibachi experience to your event.

Do children age 4 and under eat free?

Yes. Children ages 0–4 have no guest charge and still receive a child-size hibachi meal with up to two protein portions each. They are included in the total guest count and meal preparation. The $600 food minimum still applies, and premium protein upgrades are priced separately.

What's included in the per-person price?

Each standard guest meal includes two protein selections, fried rice, vegetables, and salad. Premium proteins and add-ons are priced separately.

Do you provide tables and chairs?

No. Guests provide enough tables and chairs for the party, plus plates and forks. The seating layout can stay flexible as long as the chef has a suitable and safe equipment area.

Do you offer referral rewards?

Yes. When the referring customer’s name and booking phone match a completed Hibachi Pop party, the referred booking receives a $50 referral credit. After the referred party is completed, the referring customer receives a transferable, one-time $50 Hibachi Pop reward coupon with no preset expiration date.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

We ask for allergy and dietary details on every request. Gluten-free seasoning may be requested in advance, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Severe or unclear allergies require human review.

How far in advance should I submit a request?

Earlier requests provide more planning flexibility. Same-day requests may require extra coordination, and a preferred time is not secured until final review and the deposit are completed.

Is there a travel fee?

The travel fee is $75 per order for a verified driving distance of up to 100 miles. Over 100 miles, the fee is pending until the owner confirms it; we then confirm the amount with you before the deposit request.

How much outdoor space do you need?

There is no single required table layout. We need a suitable area for the chef and equipment, safe access around the cooking area, and enough room to serve guests comfortably. Add access notes or photos when the space needs review.

What happens if it rains?

Food and cooking equipment need suitable rain protection. Outdoor or open-air setups are preferred; indoor cooking requires chef review. Guests may also remain indoors while the chef cooks outside near a suitable entrance.

What's the cancellation policy?

Each order requires a fixed, non-refundable $50 deposit after final review. It is applied to the final balance. Rescheduling and exceptional circumstances require owner review.

Do you offer premium protein upgrades?

Yes. Scallops, filet mignon, and lobster tail are available as premium selections, and the applicable upgrade price is shown while building the order.

Can you cook hibachi at an Airbnb or vacation rental?

Yes, when the host or property manager permits the event and onsite cooking. Obtain permission before booking and share any property rules, access restrictions, and insurance requirements with us. A suitable outdoor or open-air cooking area is preferred. The chef reviews the setup and any open-flame performance for safety; a reservation does not override property rules.

Which Florida areas does Hibachi Pop serve?

Our service cities are Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville. Send the exact event address and preferred date so we can review availability, travel, and access. A city listing does not guarantee every address or date; longer-distance travel requires owner review before the deposit request.

Is Hibachi Pop insured for Airbnb and private events?

Insurance coverage details are not yet verified for publication. Do not treat this website as proof of insurance. We will publish coverage information only after the policy is effective and its scope has been verified. If insurance is required for your event, contact us before booking.

Can Hibachi Pop provide a certificate of insurance (COI)?

We cannot currently promise a COI or additional-insured endorsement. Send your host or venue requirements before booking so they can be reviewed. Document availability will be confirmed only after active coverage and the applicable insurer requirements have been verified. Do not assume the venue insurance requirement has been met.

How much is the booking deposit?

Each order requires a fixed, non-refundable $50 deposit after availability and final pricing are reviewed. It is applied to the final balance and is not a percentage of the order total. The $600 food minimum still applies, subject to the existing verified referral policy.
